Meet Libby
Meet Libby Campbell, a Registered Nurse with over 40 years of experience, including training in ICU, Women’s Health Nurse, Cert IV Education and almost two decades as a Midwife.
I am a happily married mother of three adult children, none of which have graced me with gran babies yet, just a fur gran baby Miss Polly Piccolo.
We did have a beautiful dog called Bubba, that I was gifted through the birth of a baby some years ago, but he sadly passed at the end of 2024 whilst I was working as a travelling Midwife. Hence the name Bubbas Journey was born in ode to our darling fur baby and all the babies journeys I have been a part of.
Bubbas Journey has come about after recently hanging up my Midwifery boots. I no longer wanted to be medically related to birth, as I felt it has changed so much over the years. I no longer felt aligned with the interventions and barriers that some women are currently facing today.
Don’t get me wrong, often these decisions are made to keep both the mother and baby safe, but now I just want to support pregnant women from an entirely different angle.
I still have the yearning to be with women, their babies and loved ones and I feel I still have a lot to offer women and their families by providing personalised grounded support and nurtured blessings during one of life’s most sacred transitions.
Whether you're planning your first birth or welcoming your third, I'm here to walk with you — calmly, confidently and without judgement.
My aim is for you to feel safe and supremely nestled in your own strength and soundness throughout your whole pregnancy journey and beyond. Especially when you find yourself at home postnatally wondering what the heck just happened and where to from here?
I will be with you in your home for whatever you may need and whatever needs doing. Giving you ample time to bond with your baby, immerse in your baby bubble, feed whichever way you choose, sleep, rest, eat, repeat.
